What Qualifications You’ll Need:
Proof of an achieved degree from an accredited college or university in education or human services related field as defined by the appropriate state licensing agency.
2 plus years (2500 Hours) childcare experience
What You’ll Do:
Be a role model by making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
Cultivate a sensitive, patient early learning environment for both children and families.
Plan and implement dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
Provide effective and timely communication of each child’s progress to families.
Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
Supervise each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.
