The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides mental health, substance use, and health and behavioral screening, assessment, and intervention. As part of a healthcare team, the LCSW models an inter-disciplinary, integrated behavioral health approach to providing quality patient care. - Master’s degree in social work and licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of Maine required
- Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions
- High level of comfort in working with primary care medical providers using a consultative style
- Competence in emergency assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of various psychiatric/chemical dependencies to adequately meet position requirements
