Description
Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Keeps cash workbook to monitor and balance cash transactions to bank. Maintains cash work papers from EPIC, CPSI, and the banks.
- Maintains JE for in-house sales such as Dietary and Pharmacy and inventory
- Receipt customer payments in NetSuite and prepare weekly and month end deposits
- Create/distribute/analyze all 340B program audits including Medicaid duplicate discount and patient eligibility
- Posts entries to ledgers and journals after reviewing for accuracy and compliance with established accounting procedures and policies from EPIC, Systoc, Speedscripts and any other necessary revenue/source journals
- Back-up for accounts payable (AP) and perform all AP duties as necessary for back-up
- Prepares, accounts for, maintains files for all Plant Fund expenditures
- Be familiar with the supporting documentation for the accounting system.
- Prepare annual 1099s
- Communicate effectively with vendors and staff at all levels
- Implements accepted accounting policy and safeguards GRH assets
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree with accounting major is preferred
- Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable preferred
- Experience in fixed asset management preferred
- Keyboarding and computer skills necessary
- MS Excel skills preferred
- 340B experience preferred
