Anticipated Long Term Substitute Middle School Science Teacher at Poultney High School- Poultney High School is looking for a full-time licensed middle school science teacher to finish the 2024 - 2025 school year. As a Middle School Science Teacher for Grades 7 and 8, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking in students. Your primary focus will be on developing students' understanding of scientific concepts, enhancing their laboratory skills, and cultivating a passion for scientific inquiry. The candidate must be able to differentiate their lessons for a variety of learners, have an understanding of the MTSS process, experience with progress monitoring, work within the PLC community and use a variety of technology.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing lesson and unit plans; delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers; professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues.
