Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our Summer Camp team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in various settings, including preschool and school environments. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere that promotes child welfare and childhood education. The Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children, including those in special education programs. A teacher certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall development of each child.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning and exploration.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- Proven experience working with school-aged children or in school settings is required.
- Background in special education or experience working with children with diverse needs is advantageous.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, child welfare, and toddler care are essential.
- A degree or certification in Education or a related field is highly desirable.
