Position Summary
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Candidate ensures the Y is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule, responds to special cleaning requests & emergencies. Maintains all areas of the Y with primary focus on bathrooms, locker rooms and common spaces. This job is fully on-site, not remote.

Essential Functions
- Perform general restroom & locker room cleaning, dusting, trash removal, glass and mirrors, etc.
- Replace soap, paper products and other supplies
- Reports all needed repairs to Facilities Director
- Ensures YMCA is safe & secure and respond to emergencies
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six months or more of related experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, checklists, and other documents
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Understanding of cleaning chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
