Position Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The IT Specialist serves and maintains the IT Operations with all GSB branch locations. By keeping the business continuity at a safe level.
Support for Office365 Products and Services
Respond to user questions and explain the operation of the systems.
Ensure anti-virus software is installed, properly configured, and regularly updated.
Create and review all users profiles, access list and authorities.
Follow up network communication problems with the IT Officer
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests: exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Assist with operating servers and maintain the daily and monthly backups.
Assist with operating daily and monthly system changes.
Manage time and projects effectively.
Training staff with IT-related equipment
Assist with new/existing setups with related equipment.
Assist with troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of systems.
Actively contributes to teams success.
Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations, and all established bank policies and procedures.
Some travel will be involved.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of Six (6) months prior experience of IT field.
Minimum of Six (6) months IT experience.
Strong communications skills.
Experience using personal computers
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Must be able to work flexible hours as scheduled (Monday through Friday, and Saturday as needed).
Banking experience is desired.
High level of customer sales and service experience is desired.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired.
