Program and Membership Director
Are you passionate about fitness, wellness, and community engagement? Do you have experience leading sports, recreation, and fitness programs? The Middlecreek Area Community YMCA is seeking a dynamic and driven Program and Membership Director to join our leadership team at our growing branch! This is a unique opportunity to help shape our YMCA’s programs, membership services, and growth as we continue to grow and serve our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of all fitness and recreation programs, including group exercise, personal training, martial arts, and active older adult programming.
- Direct membership initiatives, working alongside the Membership Marketing Committee to promote recruitment and retention through creative promotions and challenges.
- Manage staff, volunteers, and program budgets to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective operations.
- Assist in the planning and supervision of special events.
- Build partnerships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations to promote the YMCA’s mission and services.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in fitness, recreation management, business, or a related field.
- A background in fitness, sports development, or program management.
- Experience in leading a team, supervising staff, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- A passion for working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a forward-thinking mindset.
