The Greater Topeka Partnership seeks an organized, creative, and collaborative professional to lead the creative team and manage creative projects to serve as the organization's Director of Creative Services, who will be an integral member of the Greater Topeka Partnership team!

Salary of $70,000 (negotiable based on experience), excellent benefits package and flexible work schedule.

Major duties include:

  • Join the team that is moving Topeka forward and creating Momentum!
  • The Director of Creative Services for the Greater Topeka Partnership is an integral part of the Partnership team working closely with the creative and marketing team, in addition to internal Stakeholders.
  • In this fun & fast-paced role the Director of Creative Services works on:
  • Oversee all branding, design, media production, and digital assets
  • Ensure consistency across the organization’s multiple brands and entities.
  • Provides strategic and hands-on support in content creation, website development, event production, and audiovisual management.
  • Play a key role in aligning creative strategies with organizational goals, optimizing digital presences, and ensuring all assets effectively support management, visibility, and impact.
  • Provide training and support to staff on creative tools, branding standards, and website management as needed.
  • Stay informed on emerging creative trends, technology, and integrate new creative tools and techniques.

A strong candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in creative services, including leadership in design, videography, photography, and web development.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Experience in website management using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with video editing software and professional photography equipment.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and digital marketing best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, digital advertising, and conversion optimization.
  • Proven ability to manage a creative team and coordinate cross-functional projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience implementing project management tools for tracking workflow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and innovation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to web, design, and audiovisual setups.
