About us
We're hiring one to two part time teachers for our after school program. Our after school hours are 3:00-6:15. We are looking for someone from about 3:00-5:00 P.M. Monday-Friday. This position is great for college students who have time either before or after their classes. We offer hte children a free swim time in the afternoons, so the ideal candidate would need to be comfortable in our indoor pool of 5ft.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Weekly lesson planning and implementation.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages the physical, emotional and intellectual growth of children.
- Supervise children before and after school hours.
- Assist students with homework.
- Communicate effectively with parents, other staff, and administrators.
- Adapt to administrative changes.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred or college credits in Education or related field.
- 2 years experience working with children. (Coaching, babysitting, volunteering)
