What You'll Do
As a Home Health Aide with Greater Vision, you’ll provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each client. Your responsibilities will include:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Mobility & Transfers: This role requires frequent heavy lifting, repositioning, and transferring of clients. Candidates must be comfortable with physically demanding tasks.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare light meals and support dietary needs.
- Medication Reminders: Help clients stay on track with prescribed schedules.
- Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties like laundry and organizing.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful activities to enhance well-being.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records and communicate updates to the care team.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking compassionate, reliable individuals who bring more than just skills—they bring heart.
- Certification: Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Experience: Prior experience in home care or working with elderly/disabled clients is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, move, and transfer clients safely and comfortably.
- Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to work independently.
- Transportation: Reliable vehicle for travel to clients’ homes.
