General Summary
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize, coordinate, and implement various programs. The incumbent will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers and oversee the progress of operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will need to have managerial experience. In addition, the incumbent will also be responsible for developing efficient strategies and tactics for program success. The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accomplishes strategic objectives by overseeing multiple project activities.
- Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects.
- Decide on suitable strategies and objectives.
- Coordinate cross-project activities.
- Perform audits, and identify trends that can be used to enhance the various programs being offered.
- Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff.
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
- Coordinates the operation of departments to confirm that assigned programs are completed according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Takes proactive steps to minimize or forecast potential schedule delays and develops alternate plans to counter such delays.
- Assume responsibility for the program’s people and vendors.
- Assess program performance and aim to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Resolve projects’ higher scope issues.
- Prepare reports for program directors.
- Regularly communicates with customers/clients to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program issues.
- Ensures that customers and/or clients are regularly informed of the status of the program(s) being offered.
- Regularly communicates with management regarding the program's status and any problems or potential problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business or a related field is preferred is required.
- 5 years of Program Management experience is required.
- A project management certificate is preferred.
- Must be able to work within the United States legally.
- Must successfully complete a background check.
- Strong working knowledge of homeless programs such as individuals and families at risk of homelessness.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented, strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
