What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Swim Team Coach position at Greater Waterbury YMCA?
The Head Coach will work closely with the Aquatics Director to oversee the operations of the swim team program including, but not limited to, scheduling, training, supervising, and evaluating swim practices and assistant coaches. Applicants must have some open availability during the week and weekends during swim meets, coaches meetings, and practices.
We are looking for applicants who have at least 3 or more years of coaching experience and/or proven track record in managing a mid sized swim team program. In addition applicants must have a current professional CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Current YMCA/or American Red Cross Lifeguard and YMCA Swim Instructor or WSI certifications are desired.
