GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the Branch Director, the Sales/Office Manager for YMCA Camp Hiawatha and Camp Hyde, is responsible for achieving sales targets and acquiring new business through networking and local events. This role supports the daily operations of the camp and functions as the office manager, ensuring efficient systems are in place to support program operations.
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience Requirements:
1. Minimum age of 21
2. Relevant education or experience in office management, data entry and support
Physical/Mental Requirements:
1. Must be able to routinely perform the following physical activities; climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach with hands, sit, stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, walk, lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, have finger dexterity, grasp, perform repetitive motions, talk, hear and have visual acuity to perform detailed tasks
2. Must have ability to communicate effectively; both orally and in writing
3. Must possess problem solving, organizational and task management skills; ability to make independent and sound decisions in a rapidly changing environment
4. Must be detail oriented and exhibit a high degree of accuracy and alertness
5. Must exhibit initiative in the absence of supervision

Job Requirements:

3. Complete CPR/AED, First Aid, and O2, in accordance with Conditions of Employment
4. Learn all emergency procedures and action plans for the branch

6. Work a schedule that reflects the needs of the branch
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for recruiting, selling and maintaining all rental and retreat contacts, tours and communications
2. Meeting sales goals with special emphasis on new business each year.
3. Retaining 70% of groups each year.
4. Maintaining spreadsheets and files on program expenses, budgets, invoices, etc.
5. Accomplishing all association social media goals and manage camp pages.
6. Entering data to include, but not limited to, input of Annual Support pledges, and posting of payments
7. Serving as branch point of contact and organizer for Annual Support Campaign; in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Metro office
8. Responsible for the number of active volunteers recruited for the Annual Support Campaign.
9. Assisting in the training of Annual Support volunteers
10. Ensuring all accounts payable and purchase order procedures are followed and corresponding items are sent to the Metro office on time.
11. Preparing for Monthly, Weekly, Board, Annual Support and other meetings; i.e. typing memos and minutes, organizing trainings, and preparing for events.
12. Collecting and reporting statistics to the Metro office, i.e. monthly volunteer reports
13. Assisting with other special events when requested.
14. Maintain rental and retreats calendar
15. Ensuring compliance with all KDHE licensure requirements.
16. Set up all board meeting logistics; room, food, copies of materials, AV equipment.
17. Serve as Strong Community Administrator during the campaign; attend meetings, maintain donation records, mailings, assist with special events, etc.
18. Printing, typing, and organizing all work assigned by Branch Administration.
19. Preparing weekly child files for when camp is in session.
20. Administering branch new hire process and other HR items as assigned.
21. Assisting with completion and submission of risk management and accident/incident forms.
22. Maintaining a clean work and office space for maximum efficiency and work capacity.
23. All other duties as assigned.
EFFECT ON END RESULT: Grow rental and retreat revenue for the YMCA Camp Branch and ensure smooth operations in all daily functions for the branch, financial documentation is reliable and current for supporting grants, and efficient systems are in place to support program operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $20.07 per hour
