Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with a focus on both industrial and commercial cleaning standards.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Buff and polish floors to enhance their appearance and longevity.
- Conduct thorough custodial duties in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including walkways and entrances.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are well-kept.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained properly.
Skills
- Proficiency in buffing techniques and floor care methods.
- Experience in custodial work with a strong understanding of industrial cleaning practices.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform residential painting tasks as needed for upkeep.
