Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through inside sales efforts.
- Communicate effectively with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct retail sales activities, including presenting insurance products and services.
- Manage sales administration tasks, ensuring all client information is accurately documented.
- Engage in cross selling efforts to generate leads and follow up on potential clients.
- Negotiate terms of insurance policies to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth.
- Assist with Servicing account periodically.
Experience
- Proven experience in sales, within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong background in retail sales or insurance sales is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with sales administration processes and best practices.
- Experience in telemarketing or lead generation is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and market conditions.
- Experience with an independent agency is preferred.
