Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is seeking a 3rd shift Bakery Team Leader who will be responsible for overseeing the packaging and processing areas and ensuring it runs smoothly. In this position you will engage and support team members by coordinating the daily activities of the department to ensure efficient production. What you are going to be doing… Monitor and coordinate activities to ensure efficiency and quality Provide training and guidance to employees regarding operational tasks Suggest changes in the number of personnel required, depending on production requirements Ensure changeovers are completed timely and efficiently Make observations of quality and productivity and report to management Identify efficiencies as well as quality and process improvements What you need to have… Prior team lead experience in a production environment Experience in machine changeovers and equipment adjustments Perform all duties necessary to meet third party audit requirements as well as other standards prioritized by the company, to include SQF, HACCP, FSMA, USDA, FDA, etc Strong written and verbal communication skills Dexterity of hands and fingers with repetition Sensory capabilities to avoid accidents as warehouse environment involves fast moving forklifts and power jack equipment. Perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Internet) Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus Work environment and physical requirements… Manufacturing plant environment with varied temperatures including hot, cold, and freezer. The work environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and/or exposure to chemicals in work setting. Incumbents are frequently required to stand, walk, hear, bend, stoop, climb, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, pull, and push up to 50 pounds unassisted.
