Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage the first project will be A New 134 Room Hotel Construction project from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management practices. Must be very familiar with wood construction, means and methods, and able to coordinate work with all necessary trades. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that projects are completed ON TIME, WITHIN SCOPE, and in accordance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate their activities to maintain project timelines.
- Utilize construction management software, for project documentation and communication.
- Be on site to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop contracts and manage budgets effectively.
- Provide training and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency on-site.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction processes.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards in the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
