What You'll Do:
- Operate the power sweeper and use appropriate tools to remove excess sand, debris, and dust from plant productions areas, aisles and grounds.
- Sweep, shovel sand, snow, salt, and perform other housekeeping, grounds keeping, and janitorial related work as assigned.
- Empty trash and dispose of foundry waste in the appropriate waste hoppers.
- Notify supervisor of any issues regarding waste removal.
- Recycle cardboard, paper, wood pallets, and scrap metal by segregating this material in hoppers as designated.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) such as fork trucks, high lifts, and frontend loaders as needed.
- Perform assigned maintenance to plant equipment as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
