As a Controls Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electronic equipment and machinery for our manufacturing operations. You’ll follow established processes to tackle projects and solve challenges, contributing directly to the success of our operations.
What You'll Do:
Assist in evaluating and improving control systems, manufacturing technologies, and processes to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
Analyze foundry processes by tracing steps, identifying components, and assessing control capabilities.
Design and implement test procedures to confirm control system functionality and safety.
Review and collaborate on electrical layouts, component selection, and supplier evaluations.
Ensure accurate data collection for processes and builds while supporting cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
Design, construct, and connect cabling for PLC and computer interface testing, development, and troubleshooting.
Perform audits, troubleshoot electrical issues, and assist in preventive maintenance planning to keep equipment operating efficiently.
Maintain project documentation using approved tools and methodologies.
Contribute to workplace improvement through housekeeping and process optimization activities.
Flexibility to take on additional duties and work overtime as needed.
What We Need from You:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform light physical tasks, including lifting up to 20 lbs. when needed.
Safety Commitment: Must be willing to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and care.
Team-Oriented: Approach tasks with a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with team members.
