The IT Configuration Analyst will directly contribute to the success of the Grede enterprise by ensuring all IT assets are managed in a secure, compliant, efficient manner. This position will be responsible for leading IT asset lifecycle management along core IT operations business processes, including change, release, incident, and problem management. This role ensures record accuracy and integrity while maintaining an understanding of technology requirements for business and security. The IT Configuration Analyst will also manage IT Asset related vendors.

What You'll Do:
Enterprise IT Asset Management

• Architect and engineer enterprise IT Asset Management capabilities aligned with Grede business strategy.
• Define policies, procedures and controls based on industry standard frameworks, such as NIST RMF and 800-53 controls.
• Own IT asset management strategy. Incorporate into broader IT and business strategy.
• Orchestrate IT asset and operations management activities across multiple teams.
• Ensure asset inventory accuracy through process execution, monitoring, and inventory audits.
• Oversee asset governance, processes, and reporting.
• Maintain an understanding of technology requirements for business and security.
• Lead the development of the CMDB and asset database modernization.
• Manage IT Asset-related vendors.

ITIL Processes

• Design, deliver, and manage core ITIL processes including:
• Change management
• Release management
• Incident management
• Problem management
• Knowledge management

Stakeholders

The IT Configuration Analyst will collaborate closely with the following stakeholders:

• Executive Director, IT: Oversee the entire IT asset management strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• IT Department Leads: Facilitate communication, driving organizational and IT asset management objectives.
• IT Asset Managers: Manage and maintain IT asset records and databases.
• Vendors: Manage relationships with IT asset related vendors.

What We Need from You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT asset management or configuration management.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Certifications such as ITIL or similar are preferred.
