What You’ll Do:
- Orchestrating Work Orders: Plan and distribute daily maintenance tasks by organizing job steps, sequencing activities, and ensuring all necessary tools and materials are ready to go.
- Streamlining Inventory: Oversee spare parts and supplies inventory to maintain effective stock levels and ensure timely procurement.
- Collaborating & Scheduling: Partner with maintenance teams across three shifts to prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities, keeping plant operations running seamlessly.
- Driving Safety Standards: Champion safety during work planning and execution, ensuring compliance with protocols like LO/TO and chemical safety standards.
- Analyzing & Reporting: Track metrics related to equipment reliability and team performance to support data-driven decisions.
- Connecting Teams: Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and other departments to allocate resources efficiently and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Continuous Learning: Dive into equipment and processes to understand tasks fully and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Speaking the Maintenance Language: Communicate fluently in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to align with the maintenance team.
- Experience: 3 years in planning management.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and at least 3 years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Organizational Expertise: Strong ability to juggle priorities, stay organized, and adapt to changing needs throughout the day.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Engaging with key partners in a professional and friendly manner.
