Minimum Requirements :
Internal School Nurse
Desired Qualifications :
Working knowledge of practical nursing techniques;
Computer skills; able to type reports as needed;
Have a desire to work with elementary / secondary school students with disabilities;
Ability to accurately record and report health / medical information;
Strong organizational skills;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Professional CPR / AED;
Ability to work with students and parents.
Position Summary / Responsibilities :
Performs medical and / or emergency treatments of injuries and illness of students and staff as required;
Dispenses medications as needed;
Daily attendance is expected;
Other duties as assigned.
