Position Summary / Responsibilities : Develop and implement innovative strategies to support building with attendance needs; Provide family outreach and wrap around services; Work collaboratively with school district staff and administration to meet the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students; Provide school-based counseling and implement social skill's lessons in classrooms; Serve as a representative on the Committee on Special Education (CSE); Develop, implement, and progress monitor student Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals; Provide Parent Counseling and Training and / or facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings; Serve as an active member of the crisis team and support students in crisis; Participate in Rti meetings to problem-solve and review student progress; Serve as a liaison and assist families with accessing district and community supports / services; Directly reports to building principal but assignments completed out of the Office of Student Services and Pupil Personnel Services; All other duties as assigned. All teachers who are new to Greece will be required to attend two teacher induction days in the month of August.
