Shipping and Receiving

The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate is a key member of our logistics and operations team, responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. This role ensures that products are accurately shipped to customers and that incoming deliveries are properly inspected and stored. The associate will work collaboratively with team members to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks. This position is vital to ensuring the timely and accurate movement of inventory, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Shipping Operations:
• Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Verify outgoing wholesale shipments or invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Receiving Operations:
• Inspect and document incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, or discrepancies.
• Unload deliveries, verify quantities, and ensure items match purchase orders.
• Record received items into inventory management systems.
• Restock products to the correct locations.
• Inventory Management:
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in a clean and orderly manner.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist in inventory audits.
• Report inventory shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Reordering warehouse supplies and supply inventory stock counts.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols
• Comply with company policies and regulations regarding shipping, handling, and storage.
• General Warehouse Duties:
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• Support other departments with material handling as required.

Job Requirements:

• Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role is preferred but not required.
• Sales experience in retail/wholesale is a bonus.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems or shipping software.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, email).
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry up to [60 lbs.] regularly.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.

This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance and company needs. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING! Job Types: Part-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
