What You’ll Do:
Guest Service & Hospitality
- Welcome guests warmly during check-in and check-out, providing a seamless experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Coordinate guest services with other departments and outside vendors to meet special requests.
Reservations & Front Desk Operations
- Process reservations and cancellations via phone, email, and in person.
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy levels through suggestive selling techniques.
- Manage guest accounts, process payments, and balance receipts at the end of shifts.
Administrative & Team Support
- Maintain up-to-date room inventory, telephone directories, and hotel logbooks.
- Keep the front desk and back office clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist with clerical duties such as mail handling, photocopying, and guest correspondence.
- Support housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth guest transitions.
- Assist with ski check and concierge services as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience & Education: High school diploma or GED; prior hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Problem-Solver: Ability to think quickly, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in processing reservations and payments.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Windows and reservation software.
- Physically Capable: Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and move efficiently in a busy resort setting.
