Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Prepare tables for dining by setting up utensils, glassware, and condiments.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the cash register.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Comply with food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Skills
- Strong math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling.
- Experience in food preparation and handling to ensure quality service.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on helping guests feel welcome and valued.
- Experience in nightclub or high-energy environments is a plus but not mandatory.
