Salary : Salary placement on our Certified Salary schedule is dependent on the employees' education and / or work experience. Certified / licensed employees will be granted one (1) year for each full year of contractual and / or work experience up to a maximum of ten (10) years, which includes in-district and out-of-district contractual teaching and / or work experience. JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary / Objective : Provide an enriched atmosphere where students learn subject matter and / or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible members of society. Facilitate learning and guide students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation. Responsible to the building principal and department director where assigned. To provide services to students with disabilities as defined in their Individualized Education Program and to work collaboratively with related services providers and general educators to ensure students receive an appropriate education.

Additional Qualifications : Must be able to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and students. Ability to maintain effective classroom management strategies. Visual, auditory and ambulatory ability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Conflict management skills.
