Afternoon Floater

Applicants must have a great love for children and be excited to teach about Jesus! Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on their child's progress
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Implement special education strategies for children with diverse learning needs
- Incorporate physical education and outdoor play into daily routines
- Ensure the health and well-being of all children in your care
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Experience in daycare or preschool settings
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment
- Ability to provide individualized tutoring or support as needed
- Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development
- Proficiency in physical education activities suitable for preschool-aged children
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different learners
- Experience in providing care for toddlers
