Deco/Houseplant Buyer/Department Head
- Purchase and manage houseplants based on trends, customer needs, inventory levels, corporate spreads, demographics, special events, and seasonality.
- Managing freight flow for both Deco and houseplants.
- Become familiar with Sales dashboard and keep track of department sales.
- Managing and participating in the stocking, cleaning, and watering of the houseplants.
- Managing, mentoring, and educating staff. Manage and support your team to ensure daily tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Multi-task
- Communicate with store management regarding department needs.
- Dump and record non-retail quality product daily and process in inventory system weekly.
- Communicate with sales vendors regarding quality issues, deliveries, orders, or anything related to the company they represent.
- Customer service.
