We are seeking a dedicated GNA Instructor to help us train promising individuals to join the healthcare world in our beautiful training lab!

As a GNA Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating and training the next generation of GNAs/caregivers who will provide exceptional care to our residents.

Our GNA Instructor will:

• Facilitate a positive and supportive learning environment while ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility standards

• Instruct in both classroom and clinical settings, covering topics such as patient care, infection control, safety procedures, and communication skills
• Prepare and maintain instructional materials, including lesson plans, tests, and assessments
• Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement
• Ensure that all training programs comply with state and federal guidelines and regulations
• Collaborate with the facility’s leadership team to ensure students gain practical experience and understanding of long-term care settings
• Stay current with industry best practices and changes in healthcare regulations

• Assist students with clinical placements and facilitate their hands-on training at the facility

• Unencumbered Registered Nurse RN license to practice nursing in the state of Maryland

• Two years nursing experience in caring for the elderly or chronically ill in the past five 5 years
• Completed a minimum 16-hour course in the principles of adult education or have a minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience
• Completed a Train the Trainer course in Maryland
• Prior experience in a supervisory capacity

• Must teach both class and clinical
