Job Description:
A fast-growing company in the Commercial HVAC, Generator Rental, and Temporary Power industries is seeking a driven and experienced Service Manager to lead and grow our field technician team. This is a hands-on leadership role, best suited for someone who knows the field, understands the urgency of critical systems, and can coach and lead with authority and respect.
We are looking for someone with at least one year of leadership experience in the commercial HVAC industry, with additional experience in commercial temporary power and generator rental services strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support a team of commercial service technicians across multiple disciplines.
Coordinate service schedules, dispatches, and emergency response calls.
Conduct job site visits to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and provide technical guidance on complex service issues.
Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of service personnel.
Maintain performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate directly with clients, contractors, and internal departments regarding project timelines and service needs.

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of proven leadership experience in commercial HVAC service or management.
Strong technical background in commercial HVAC systems, with working knowledge of either:
Temporary Power Distribution (commercial)
Generator Rentals (commercial)
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to manage people and projects under pressure with a calm, solutions-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience overseeing generator rental projects or temporary power setups.
HVAC/Electrical certifications, EPA certification, or state licensing.
Familiarity with load balancing, ATS systems, and commercial-grade mechanical/electrical equipment.
Experience scaling service teams or implementing process improvements.
