Job Title: HVAC/R Service Technician (Commercial Equipment)
Location: Smithfield, NC Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22 $39 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician with at least 2 years of experience in commercial equipment repair and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain various commercial HVAC/R systems including gas, steam, electrical, and refrigeration systems Respond to service calls and provide outstanding customer service Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of commercial equipment including heating units, air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and more Interpret and work with wiring diagrams and schematics Work with a range of equipment, including coolers, freezers, HVAC units, air handlers, boilers, and more Lift and carry up to 70 pounds Work in varied environments, including potentially wet, dirty, or noisy conditions Be available for occasional overtime, evening, and weekend service calls Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in HVAC/R service (experience with commercial systems preferred) Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, and refrigeration systems Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, such as voltmeters and other testing equipment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check, controlled substance test, and motor vehicle record check Preferred Skills: Experience with coolers, freezers, rooftop units, split systems, and other commercial HVAC/R equipment Familiarity with the refrigeration cycle and the main components of refrigeration systems Strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer service abilities Application Process: Please submit your application, including your resume and a brief cover letter highlighting your relevant experience.
