Position Overview
The Die Cutter Operator will be responsible for the set-up and operation of a sheet fed Bobst Die Cutter.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
- Performing off-press and on-press make readies
- Set-up and operation of die cutting presses
- Following work instructions and procedures in place for each job
- Maintaining product conformance to specifications
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Quality conscious individual
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work 3rd shift (10pm-6am Sunday - Thursday) with some overtime/weekend work
- Knowledge of automated, die cutting, stripping and carton blanking systems preferred, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay ranges from $20.00-$23.00/hr, based on skills and experience. After probationary period, pay ranges from $25.02-$27.41/hr.
