What are the responsibilities and job description for the Former Operator - 3rd Shift position at Green Bay Packaging Folding Carton Division?
The Folding Carton Division is an industry leading manufacturer of Folding Cartons for food, paper, hardware, confectionary, cosmetic and many other industries. Employing 300 people, this facility designs, prints and manufactures folding cartons, trays and displays for a broad range of products and customers.
We are currently seeking a Forming Operator to work in our Forming Department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Item and Roll Changes
Feeding Machines during runs
Quality Checks throughout run
Perform general machine maintenance
Maintain product conformance to specifications
Follow Direct Food Contact procedures
Qualified candidates will have excellent mechanical aptitude, and ability to troubleshoot. The ability to work independently and in a team, environment is required. The candidate must also have good communication and basic computation skills. Along with :
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary.
Must be willing to work 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am) with some overtime / weekend work
