Join Our Team as a Sheeter Operator!
Position Overview: We're looking for a dedicated Sheeter Operator to set up and operate our Marquip Sheeter. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Set up each job (retrieve, feed, slit/trim rolls, etc.)
- Operate the machine at peak efficiency
- Follow job-specific work instructions and procedures
- Troubleshoot and adjust the machine as needed
- Ensure product meets specifications
- Maintain accurate inventory management
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
- Quality-conscious individual
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting ability
- Ability to operate clamp trucks, forklifts, and rider pallet jacks
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 6am) with some overtime/weekend work (Training hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm for first 120 days of employment)
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
