Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Specialist to join our team at Green Bay Packaging Inc. and Baird Display Inc. The ideal candidate will have a college degree and 3 years of experience in structural design.
About the Role:
- Design cost-effective displays for products or goods from conception to completion
- Facilitate ordering process for dies, create complete instruction sheets, carton content/layout/sizes
- Receive, respond and solve internal and external inquiries and/or complaints
- Assist in maintaining a complete photo library of completed projects/white samples
- Maintain highly organized, detailed records of complete design specifications & CAD drawings
- Continually meet or exceed internal and external customer needs/expectations in quality and service
- Offer assistance to less experienced employees on job duties/procedures as needs arise
- Assist on projects created by others during times of absence
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative display solutions that meet client requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Manage and maintain accurate records of design specifications and CAD drawings
- Provide exceptional customer service and support
Requirements:
- College degree plus 3 years structural design experience
- Experience with Artios CAD, Photo Shop, Illustrator
- Ability to hand draw or use software design programs
- Previous work experience in manufacturing of temporary displays a plus
- Speak, read, write English
