What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Security - Titletown position at Green Bay Packers, Inc.and its subsidiaries?
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for directing the security/safety of all areas within the Titletown District. The work involves scheduling of staff, as well as assisting in the planning of needs for daily operations of the Titletown plaza and large-scale events. This position is also responsible for maintaining a Community Policing model throughout the Titletown District.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for all security initiatives within the Titletown District such as: all day to day building operations, park and plaza operations, internal investigations, and special events.
Assist in all aspects of Titletown and Lambeau Field event (game days, concerts, etc.) security including full coordination of all supporting agencies, including but not limited to: the Green Bay Police Department, Ashwaubenon Public Safety, Brown County Sheriff, WI State Patrol, FBI, FAA, City of Green Bay Public Works, and Brown County Highway Department.
Assist in supervising staff, including scheduling and performance management.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a yearly budget for the Titletown District.
Assist in reviewing timekeeping on a daily basis, including missed punches, PTO requests, etc.
Assist with employee disciplinary actions.
Assist with all aspects of event day planning with full responsibility within the Titletown District.
Responsible in developing the event day security plans for Lambeau Field and Titletown District with law enforcement and fire/ems.
Oversee event days within the Titletown District and ensure the plan adheres to “Packers Security Best Practices” and DHS Safety Act compliance.
Host regular meetings with all tenants within the Titletown District to ensure issues are dealt with before they become a problem.
Work closely with the Ashwaubenon Inspection and Public Safety on all emergency plans throughout the Titletown District.
Developing, maintain and train staff on the comprehensive response plan for major emergencies (Active Shooter, bomb threats, etc) within all Packers owned properties including Lambeau Field and Titletown District.
Work closely with all tenants within Titletown District on their security concerns, closings, etc.
Assist with responsibilities of safety issues within the Titletown District, including the sled riding hill and ice rink operations.
Handle complaints in conjunction within the Titletown District including any arrests, ejections or no-trespass orders.
Assist as needed in dealing with police related issues.
Other duties as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree is required; Bachelor degree is preferred.
5 years of law enforcement experience.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to respond to and take control of emergency situations.
Must possess a working knowledge of computers.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
Operates in a professional office environment.
Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Travel: Several away games will be required to assist with advance work for the team.
SUPERVISES: Security Supervisor, Security Officers, Event Staff and off-duty law enforcement hired for event days.
