JOB SUMMARY:
Assist the Packers Digital & Social team in all social media efforts, including content creation, expanding into emerging platforms, devising strategies, fostering community engagement, and managing content publication.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the social media presence for the Green Bay Packers’ official accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, Threads, X, Facebook, Snapchat, and YouTube.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and trending original content for all social media accounts operated by the Green Bay Packers.
- Contribute to brainstorming, data analysis, planning, and scheduling across all social media platforms.
- Grow and engage the Green Bay Packers’ digital community, helping to cultivate the next generation of fans.
- Assist with photography needs, including shooting, editing, curating, organizing and posting to social media.
- Cover Packers events live, both on-site and remotely, capturing content, clipping broadcasts, and posting in real-time.
- Maintain and uphold Packers’ brand voice and tone, effectively representing our athletes and our organization in a consistent manner.
- Monitor, track and respond to Packers-related activity across all social platforms.
- Utilize social media analytics tools to generate performance reports and evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Assist with managing live streams of press conferences and other live events.
- Aid in executing paid social media campaigns.
- Act as a go-to resource for other departments within the organization to support their social media goals.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in digital media, journalism, or a related field).
- Sports social media experience.
- Exhibit strong written and communication skills, tailored to the unique nuances of each social platform.
- Demonstrate proficiency in creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form content platforms.
- Graphic & motion design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
- Photography experience, including shooting and editing.
- Have experience with Meta Business Suite, X Ads, and X Media Studio.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the Green Bay Packers’ organization, the NFL, and football is a plus.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Willingness to learn about emerging forms of social media, industry trends, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze social media data and organize into actionable insights.
- Availability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed, depending on game schedule and events.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
- Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
- Operates in a professional office environment.
- Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
