The Stadium Operations Manager main responsibility is to ensure that all planned events and caterings at and outside of Capital Credit Union Park are meeting our guests’ standards and expectations which includes operating a commercial kitchen. This position would include overseeing set-up, service, and clean-up of all events. The position will lead daily operations of planning and coordinating all events with the Facilities Director. This position will be require the ability to cook basic foods such as: Burgers, Hot Dogs and Brats. We desire a team player with good communication and decision-making skills. Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.  The focus would be set up, clean up and managing the kitchen including cooking. 
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position is responsible for overseeing all event planning and operations for Capital Credit Union Park. This includes both back and front of house and all part time staff employed.
  • This position would be responsible to attend all events, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Ability to cook and work in the kitchen.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administrative management and communication with upcoming needs for events.
  • Ability to plan, critically think, and communicate with customers wanting to book our spaces and plan events.
  • Participate with on-boarding and retention of team members through recognition, coaching and development.
  • Coordinate events and Caterings with the Facilities Director and Event Manager. Work together to meet guests needs and execute guest service in all areas.
  • Responsible for contributing ideas for and booking rental spaces.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of locations by maintaining specified standards, passing Health Department audits and training staff on proper sanitation guidelines.
  • Communicate event details to ensure each event is executed per guest standards and requests. 
  • Interact and engage with guests and team members.
  • Ability to assist in the kitchen as needed
  • Assist with tear-down of all food and beverage operation at the facility and caterings. 
  • Have basic knowledge on maintenance of all beer and soda lines and food equipment.
  • Have knowledge of all state and federal labor laws and train all managers to abide by these laws.
  • Assist Facility Director in Human Resource duties to make sure staffing is adequate in all locations at Capital Credit Union Park.
  • Assist in training part-time employees. 
  • Attend any team functions and meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability to perform the essential functions.
  • Ideal candidate may have minimum of 1 year management/leadership experience in a guest service roll.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel. 
  • Ability to cook
  • Follow all safety requirements and company safety policies.
  • Proper training and knowledge of the following equipment/procedures: ovens, mixers, slicing and packaging machinery, proper lifting techniques.
  • Microsoft Office Skills including Excel.
  • Experience with staffing, hiring, and training.
  • Passion for exceptional service
  • An understanding of financial reporting
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills 
  • Vision with or without the help of eyewear & sense of hearing required.
  • Valid driver's license, with reputable record
  • Wine and Spirits Servers license with Brown County
  • Food & Beverage Handlers Permits 
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Stand in one spot for a long period of time, bend stoop, and kneel regularly.
  • Full range of upper body motion
  • Lifting up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis, push carts of up to 200 
  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures
  • May be outdoors to assist guests with materials or supplies, or to service an outdoor event.
  • Ability to serve tables when necessary.
  • Ability to work an oven, grill and deep fryer 
  • High stress levels
  • Often required to work rapidly within time constraints; must be able to change activities quickly and frequently.
  • Frequently near moving machinery
  • Repetitive motion of hands and wrists 
 
WORK SCHEDULE
  • Full-time, salaried position 
  • The work schedule will include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be available for all Capital Credit Union Park events and caterings 
  • PTO will be granted around major events at Capital Credit Union Park and Caterings
