Front Office Assistant for Landscaping Company
Job Description:

Overall office assistance and support to office staff

Learning basic daily sales processing and reporting
-
Learning nursery sales processing as needed
-
Customer service/routing of customers and phone calls
-
Initial background checks on new applicants and drug tests if they’re hired
-
Assisting with uniform/equipment supply closet management as needed
-
Filing as needed
-
Support to Controller:
-
Reporting daily sales for Wholesale Nursery & Garden Center
-
Data Entry for Sales Tax Log
-
Managing employee calendar/leave requests
-
Scanning and keeping employee digital files organized
-
Support with Accounts Payable and Payroll at a later date
-
Other duties as assigned

Computer proficiency - Microsoft Excel, Google applications, ability to learn Wholesale database system, Quickbooks experience preferred.

Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to customer and employee information (will sign NDA)

Either significant experience in front office work, or business-focused higher education, or a combination thereof

32-40 hours per week (office hours are M-F 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch)

$18-$19 hourly
