Green Brick Mortgage is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Loan Processor to join our team in Plano, TX. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for preparing and organizing loan files, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify borrower information through third-party vendors.
- Collect and organize all necessary documentation from borrowers.
- Communicate with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and borrowers to resolve any issues.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Prepare loan files for underwriting and closing.
Supervision of Others: N/A
Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability:
Utilizes discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations.
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations.
- Proficiency in loan origination and processing software.
- Excellent communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
