Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled or unskilled Landscape/ Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape and irrigation installation and maintenance. This role involves working with various landscaping tools and equipment to ensure the upkeep and beautification of roadways, parks, and other governmental properties. The Landscape/ Irrigation Technician will play a vital role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of landscapes while ensuring the health and longevity of trees, plants and sod. If you are not skilled , we are willing to train you and give you many opportunities to move up in our company. We are a drug free company. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Responsibilities
- Dig, plant, and maintain landscape ensuring proper care for flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Dig trenches and install irrigation pipes.
- Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth.
- Maintain equipment in good working order through routine cleaning and basic mechanical knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape/irrigation installation and maintenance or related fields is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively.
- Ability to dig, plant, mow, irrigate, and care for lawns and trees with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with various gardening techniques and plant care practices is a plus.
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards outdoor work.
