Job Summary
General responsibilities include the provision of evidenced based practices to assist individuals, and / or groups in identifying and processing thoughts and behaviors related to mental health and / or substance use disorders to gain knowledge and skills to reduce problems and improve skills to lead healthy, self-sufficient productive lives.

· Most be able to use our electronic medical record system. This work is repetitive, requires long periods of sitting and/or standing and typing and must be done daily.
· Must be able and eligible to drive an agency vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and pass a MVR.
· Must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
· Must be able to move up to 50 pounds.
· Must be willing to perform other duties as requested by your immediate supervisor or members of the agency’s Leadership Team.
· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
· Bridges communication between Specialty Court Team(s) and the agency, advocates on behalf of the person being served.
· Attends GCBHS treatment team staffing weekly and completes documentation in client chart.
· Attends Mental Health Court Team Staffing and Court as needed and represents GCBHS and the client(s) in a respectful and appropriate manner.
· Exhibits on-going communication between the treatment team and court team(s).
· Exhibits on-going communication between the detention center staff in both Muskogee and McIntosh Counties.
· Seeks to obtain and maintain a relationship between the court , detention center and other treatment agencies and GCBHS for the greater good of the person(s) served.
· Implements ODMHSAS Jail Based Restoration services and attends all offered trainings.
· Will serve as the liaison for Muskogee and McIntosh County Detention Centers.
· Will assess and link inmates who have been found not competent to the GCBHS provider for medication treatment.
· Will provide on-going assessment as it pertains to and utilizing the workflow provided by ODMHSAS-to inmates within the Jail Based Competency Restoration program.
· Is credentialed by the ODMHSAS as a Case Manager and provides rehabilitation services.
· Implements ODMHSAS Treatment Court Best Practices into services provided.
· Collects information about the people we serve through on-going assessment, observation and
analysis.
· Assists those we serve in learning coping skills and maintaining community tenure, providing services as guided by client need, CCBHC manual and Mental Health Court Handbook.
· Guides clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems.
· Assists in the development and implementation of (jail based) service plans and collaborates with other staff and
clients in goal setting and discharge planning.
· Can demonstrate knowledge in the role trauma plays in recovery and provides trauma informed,
gender sensitive, age appropriate, culturally competent, and person centered treatment.
· Can dialogue with the people we serve about their view of recovery, what that means to them and how to utilize those skills in their daily lives.
· Can demonstrate knowledge and practice of effective crisis diversion skills.
· Can demonstrate a working knowledge and skills in the following, at a minimum: developmental life span; State laws for reporting abuse and neglect; safety planning; and service planning.
· Understand case management / care coordination and the referral, linkage, and advocacy process.
