Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor, Claremore ReStore is responsible for receiving donated goods and assisting customers picking up purchased items. The Warehouse Supervisor is an ambassador for Green Country Habitat for Humanity and often makes a first impression of the organization to donors and customers, therefore a positive attitude is necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct themselves professionally. Has a clean and neat appearance, AND positive attitude.
- Clearly explains to donors? items we accept. Is considerate to donors, especially those turned away due to type and condition of items.
- Follows policy and procedures in regard to customer holds, asking for prices and verifying receipts.
- Ensure the donors fill out the correct donor form and they receive a copy. Forms are turned in to the General Manager at the end of each month.
- Ensures the items being unloaded from or loaded onto vehicles are handled safely and securely.
- Ensures items received are separated and placed on the correct skid for processing.
- Assists with removing sold items off the sales floor and may help with set up of kitchen cabinets and other items.
- Monitors volunteers/community service workers, and homeowners. Ensures they deal with the public professionally. Trains them in the correct handling of items, filing out donor forms, items on correct skids for processing. Makes sure they have work to do, and if not, seeks out supervisor for other tasks. Goes over safety procedures with each worker.
- Keeps receiving areas clean.
- Follows instructions on marketing or customer relation activities.
- Ensure Buy4ReSale merchandise is fully stocked on the Sales Floor.

- Maintain a workplace free from serious recognized hazards and comply with safety standards, rules, and regulations.
- Use tools available to maintain a safe environment.
- Educate yourself on hazards, safety practices and rules.
- Communicate about any unsafe practices and conditions.
- Always follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Report any injury, accident or near miss (no matter how small) to management.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Drives a van or box truck.
- Loads items at the work site in a safe and courteous fashion.
- Assists in unloading truck following dock guidelines.
- Operates powerlift equipment and various power tools.
