We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Assistant, who is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations in a fast pace environment. This role involves a variety of tasks including clerical duties, data entry, and customer service to support the organization’s goals.
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
· Greet and assist customers and staff in a professional manner.
· Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
· Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and packages.
· Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical.
· Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars.
· Prepare documents, reports and correspondences as needed.
· Order and maintain office supplies to ensure adequate inventory.
· Support the preparation and coordination of events and meetings.
· Perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
· Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and database management.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support office efficiency.
Office Worker Qualifications & Skills:
· High school diploma or equivalent or presently working toward an associate’s degree is preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software. Ability to learn various software applications.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
· Positive attitude and a willingness to assist others.

Hours and Compensation:
· Length of work: Monday – Friday 8 am to 4 pm (up to 8 hours/day depending on workload). Some weekends may be required for events.
· Compensation: $15/hour, with a performance bonus at the end of the summer employment.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
