The purpose of the Landfill full-time LTE driver is to operate and maintain equipment that is used in the operation of the Green County Landfill. Position is from April to September.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
ESSENSTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following: Operate semi-truck; including the loading and transportation of solid waste.Maintain, or assist in the maintenance of the semi-truck.Assist with maintenance and repair of landfill equipment.Ensure maintenance records are up-to-date.Assist patrons with refuge disposal as needed.Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the landfill buildings and grounds.

Additional skills required for this position: LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to perform basic math.
