This is a 20 hour per week part-time Records Specialist position located in the Green County Sheriff's Office is responsible for performing general clerical duties in an efficient and accurate manner.APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED UNTIL MAY 16, 2025 AT 4:00 P.M.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Typing, transcribing, reading and reviewing reports * Process various legal documents* Maintain a filing system* Answer the telephone* Read and interpret maps* Type accident reports* Perform general clerical duties and general office operations. * Possess knowledge of general terms and phrases used in legal procedures and documents relating to law enforcement. * Possess the ability to prioritize work under stressful situations involving deadlines and time limits. * Possess a working knowledge of modern office equipment. * Review camera and audio recordings and make necessary redactions for record requests. * Disseminate reports and video evidence while following office protocols. * And such duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
