Patrol Deputy- Full-time position. $28.75per hour with shift differential for night shift. Wisconsin Retirement Fund, and comprehensive County benefits including health, dental, vision, disability and deferred compensation. Uniforms and gear provided. Extra duty pay for Dual Certified (Jail and Law Enforcement), Humane Officer, Field Training Officer, WI DOJ Certified Instructor, Bilingual (Spanish), and SWAT Team Leader. Several benefit time options: vacation, personal, holiday, comp time and sick leave. Special assignment opportunities available in Honor Guard, SWAT, Drug Investigator, ATV Patrol, Drone Pilot, and Crisis Negotiator. Incentive pay for physical readiness. Lateral Transfer, depending on years of service, starting pay up to $32.99.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position includes traffic and criminal law enforcement, supervision of inmates, court services, and civil process. Applicants must be available to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, which includes nights, weekends and holidays. This schedule allows for every other Friday-Saturday-Sunday off.
