Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand critical staffing needs for Sales and Operational Leadership at our communities and develop tailored hiring strategies.
- Leverage advanced sourcing methods, including advanced search techniques, networking, referrals, partnerships with placement agencies, and targeted outreach, to identify top talent for critical sales and leadership roles.
- Partner with hiring managers, senior leadership, and HR teams to define ideal candidate profiles and align recruiting timelines and expectations.
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, talent availability, and competitor practices to refine recruitment approaches.
- Conduct initial interview with candidates, providing a comprehensive evaluation of candidates' technical skills, workplace culture fit, leadership potential, sales effectiveness, and alignment with organizational expectations.
- Coordinate the scheduling of follow-up interviews, serving as the primary point of contact for candidates and ensuring timely action from hiring managers throughout the interview process.
- Facilitate a Candidate Evaluation Meeting to gather information candidate feedback from subsequent interviews to determine next steps of action.
- Provide regular communications and reporting to appropriate parties on status of open requisitions.
- Conduct competitive wage analysis as needed and recommend appropriate action for opportunity areas. Develop compelling offer packages to successfully secure high-impact hires.
- Manage sensitive hiring initiatives with discretion and professionalism.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, placement agencies, and hiring managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate leaders.
- Manage the process for offer letters, background checks, pre-employment assessments, and employee eligibility verifications.
- Collaborate on job description enhancements.
- Develop a pipeline and database of high-potential candidates.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Maintain knowledge of recruiting trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on filling niche, high-priority, sales and leadership roles.
- Certification in talent acquisition or human resources (e.g., SHRM-CP or LinkedIn Recruiter Certification).
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics.
- Proficient with ADP Workforce Now or ADP Recruitment Management a plus.
- Deep understanding of relevant industries including: Senior Living, Manufactured Housing, Multi-Unit Property Management, or Hospitality.
- Proficiency in advanced sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, talent databases, digital sourcing, and networking.
- Ability to proactively assess talent needs and translate them into effective hiring strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage and persuade high-caliber candidates as well as ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers.
- Ability to handle sensitive searches with the utmost discretion and urgency.
- Strong organizational skills, follow-up skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple searches for diverse positions simultaneously.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position may occasionally be required to travel.
Physical Requirements
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary
